LOCATION: Remote 

RETAINED SEARCH PARTNER: Falcon Partners  

SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Commercial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, an Aerospace and Defense Manufacturer business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods. 

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity. 

THE COMPANY

·        Business Model: Electronic manufacturing 

·        End Market: Military & Aerospace 

·        Revenue Range: $50mm 

·        Hold Period: Exit planned in the next 3-5 years. 

·        Deal Structure: Control buyout. 

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale and exit in the next 3 years. 

·        Executing organic growth with significant white space in key verticals of military & aerospace.

·        Acquire add-ons that will add scale, product, cross-sell, and multiple arbitrages. 

·        Professionalization of all functions as the business scales.

THE SPONSOR: This LA based private equity firm has an AUM of $1.5B with over 60 total investments. It invests across several key sectors such as aerospace, defense, industrial, medical, precision manufacturing and healthcare sectors.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek an enthusiastic, committed leader with a contagious will to win and an insistent desire to improve the business. This leader will honor the company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: 

·        Business Model: Military or Aerospace 

·        Functional: Top Sales leader of a $50mm-$150mm electronic manufacturing company OR a #2 sales leader of a $150mm-$300mm with similar industry experience.

·        Orientation: Sales experience is required

·        Private Equity: Not required.

·        M&A: Highly preferred. 

·        Tenure: 20-35+ years of progressive career success
